Lou's Unsafe Fried Chicken Place
Who doesn't love some internet drama? Sure, we like watching things go down, but not when it involves the best comedy channel of all time ever® as well as the best writer/Billy Mays look-alike Lou. No, no - I'm sorry but, we must draw the line somewhere. This far, no further. We can not withstand such a war, for it will destroy us all.
I made a video about Lou once: Click me to watch video. And, try as they might, We The Internet TV (WTIT from now on) could not make my video go viral. :(
Oh well. I guess fame can wait. Anyway. Today I was just minding my own business when I saw that horrible tweet of doom and gloom that will kill us all. I knew then.... I had to act.
I'm pretty good with logic, my whole channel is me pointing out logical fallacies (mostly) so I think I've got a pretty good grasp upon it. What I see from this post is several logical fallacies, and my hope is, by pointing them out here in this blog post, Lou and WTIT will give each other a hug and forget this nonsense before it blows up the multiverse as we know it.
First Lou says:
Fried chicken is overrated.This is a subjective statement. We can know this by the word "overrated" - Lou has offered us no data on how many people have rated fried chicken, nor if they are rating it higher then they should. There is not any method suggested anywhere of what the rating of said fried chicken "should" be set at. Even if Lou had a large sample size of people rating Fried Chicken, he could not hope to resolve where the rating "should" be as a standard to match it against any other food or type of food.
Therefor, although this seems at first glance to be a statement of fact, it can not be, because of the subjective word "overrated". However, if one wanted to push the point that this IS a statment of fact, then WTIT should respond, "prove it" since the burden of proof would be upon Lou in full, as whoever makes the claim has the burden of proof.
Lou then says:
Don’t ”fight me.”Fighting in this context could mean any number of things, but given that this a statement of subjective value, we can infer that Lou is referring to an argument - that is, a debate on the matter. He is telling us that his mind is made up on this view point, and that adds upon the idea that this is purely subjective, rather then objective. This is not an argument, Lou doesn't want to argue, he wants to put out this view, and that is that. He does not want your view, he does not need your view, one could speculate that he does not care about your view as well. However with the quotes around fight me we might speculate upon what Lou's intent here is. Does he mean to imply that fight me in this context is not in fact, a fight at all - it is the mere illusion of fight? Placing things in quotes adds to confusion here, and is further indication that this is a point of view, written perhaps late at night in the dark, alone and drunk, after failing to masturbate to futanari hentai for the tenth time. (NTTIAWWT)
Anyway, this is not a statement of fact. However, Lou then says this:
Just accept this truth.Oh dear. This is a problem Lou, as we can not accept the statements you have made as being true - OTHER then to accept them being a taste selection that is true - TO YOU, and yes, that view is your view, and that is your true view - we have no reason to suspect that you are not being honest with this view point. But to suggest that this is "the truth" "this truth" and/or anything else reflecting the idea that this statement is MORE then subjective, is to fly off the rails into the purely illogical. Simply put, you've commented a Formal Fallacy: failure to give an argument. You've offered no proof to show it is true, thus we must assume that your saying that it is true for your view point, in your subjective tastes, and not true in reality. For we have no argument, no evidence, no data to look at. Lou's post shows therefor, a subjective view that is one he wants to keep, and for us to think is his subjective truth on the matter. We have no problem doing that. If, however, you wanted to assume that Lou was putting out a statement about reality, then your objection should be simply to prove it - nothing more or less, as Lou has not proven anything and offered no argument.
Now I must turn my attention to WTIT as they, sadly performed a logical fallacy.
The words in question are here:
bout of insanity.Ah WTIT, you have committed the Ad Hominem fallacy. Rather then addressing Lou's lack of proof, formal fallacy &/or his argument (that he didn't have) you have attacked him the person. This also adds a second fallacy to the mix: Poisoning of the Well, as your making everything Lou says suspect because, after all - if he is not sane, then we can not trust anything he has said. Further, you also fail YOUR burden of proof, and also do not give any evidence to show that Lou is in fact, insane.
There is also this bit:
we will fight him.You've now performed equivocation as well, the word fight as posted by Lou had quotes around it, suggesting some other fight that is non-real to some extent, although whatever the intent Lou had in putting quotes is something we can not know, what we do know is that without the quotes, the word fight is no longer the word "fight" that Lou posted, thus is a different meaning of that word, thus is equivocation, and also I would suggest a strawman argument as well. Your only response should have been "Prove it Lou" as that would be the acceptable and logical rebuttal to Lou's statement, if, and only if WTIT thought Lou was posting a statement of fact, rather then a statement of feeling/personal subjective view.

Conclusion
~~~~
In Logic, when one has found one or more logical fallacies, then one must be skeptical of the conclusion, it might be true - but though the use of the logical process, we can not be sure that it is true, thus we are in doubt. When there is a debate at hand, should both party's arguments contain logical fallacies, you must be in doubt of both of there conclusions. No one wins, no one loses. This can of course be modified by rules the debaters agree to prior to the debate, but that is a different subject. Nonetheless, what we have here is two groups who have both failed in any sort of logical presentation and I submit they should be skeptical of there own stances, therefor they should agree to disagree and make up and hug.
And if they do not...
I will send the lobsters.
(that would be an ad baculum fallacy dear reader, but its okay when I do them... because... uhhhh...)
For Notch
"I''m just trying to figure out the game rules here. :)If I truly make my own rules, I'd like to go back to programming.
If I don't, I'd like to know the rules."
Life has some rules, we must eat and drink, we must avoid injury, we must do something with our mind to make life worthwhile. Lots of humans though time have tried to say what it is that gives life meaning. You can try to find it in religion, beliefs, family, friends, or that loved one. You can find it anywhere or nowhere. Its unique to each person. Thus, the answer is - in the end, up to each of us.
But that doesn't sit well does it, it would be better if there was a "goal" - yet then I'm reminded of Notch's philosophy that I recall reading somewhere - if I remember right, it was that the "end" of minecraft wasn't an end, for after you jump into the portal you go back to the normal world, where you last set your spawn point (a bed most likely) - ah, you return home. The adventure is never over. You can go out and do more. There are endless updates. The quest is never over, the game is never done. Such is life.
Of course, Notch's post also shows to me a possible false choice, that you must figure out the rules of life OR go back to programming. You can do both.
Of course, I have zillions of ideas for games and things I would try to make, and when I knew some programming I made somethings, but its like anything - it takes work to make something work. Here in is the crux: Notch doesn't need to work. Yet, he "needs" to work. As work is something we do on some level. As of now, I write this - that is work, just not as great of a work as cleaning the dish's in the sink.
However, is there really "levels" of work? Some is "harder" then others but this is very subjective. What is hard to you, might be easy to someone else. What is impossible is simple. That is just how humans are. We are all very different creatures. Items in real life, things we can get, house's, collectibles, paintings, whatever you can point to - getting "more" for some is a drive, and for others getting "less" is better. Some are in-between.
Everyone is unique, although also, people break that rule by sometimes being very much the same. The rules of living in and of itself do not change, but other rules might change. Its a complex system we came up with.
I'm far from "rich" in fact, that is the one type of "class" I've not been. I was born and raised in Middle Class with a house - then descended downwards, then back up. I've not been Upper-Middle Class, whatever that is, but whatever the universe should just give me rich somehow. Also someone who looks like Sailor Mercury and... oh sorry what was I typing? Once you begin wishing, you do not stop I suppose.
However, this idea brings me back to the start of this, what makes the "game" won? In real life I had at one time, almost every set of pokemon cards completed - I could make all sorts of decks, and I enjoyed that quite a bit. Then, that time in my life ended, I sold my cards. I still play on PC from time to time, I do not miss the "real" cards - I do think though, what it would be like to have "all" the cards in the online game - I could build any deck, but - also, there would be a somewhat of this feeling - this "now what" feeling. Like OK I won. Now what? Well, I won a type of game. Now I can play the game game... unless collecting was the game.
I wonder if Notch feels something like that - he "won" the game of life, here is money, boom you rich weeee! Okay. Awesome... now what? Well, see, that wasn't REALLY the game. You just thought it was, and it turns out, it wasn't. That is a good thing...right?
Maybe. I guess it depends on what sort of person Notch is. That avatar name also fits "Notch" as in a small groove one puts into wood or something, it fits just so, into that notch, that area, that bit. Maybe that will be a clue for him moving onward. Oh hey, we are both 40! ... yay? O_o;
We all must play this game of life our way, within some rules, also making up those rules. I do not know if that is of any use, or will be of any use, still I didn't mind writing this blog post, For Notch.
(also for anyone else that might read it)
The God Game.
You are God.
Welcome to nothing.
This is where you exist, and have always existed for all of forever. There is no time or space here. Just you, and nothing else. You know everything, every possible thing, and can make anything or
not make anything knowing what making or not making will do for any given thing. You have power unlimited, you can do anything, and you can be everywhere. But there is nowhere to be and no when to be, so you simply exist with power and nothing to do with it.
You've existed in this way forever but also not forever because time isn't really even a thing yet since you have not made it.
You could exist like this forever since you've been existing forever like this, or you could make something and change what was into something else, even though you already know what the result will be. You are also perfect.
Welcome to being perfect. You've been perfect and will always be perfect. You could make yourself not perfect, since you have all the power that there is to have, or you could keep being perfect. If you keep being perfect you keep being perfect since there isn't anything greater. Since there is nothing greater then there is no need to make anything, since you are perfect, everything you make would also be perfect, but you have no need to make or do anything with your power.
You could make yourself imperfect then you could begin to use your power, or you could make something that itself would not be perfect, or start perfect but become flawed.
There is not any reason to make anything since you are perfect. So, if you want to move on, you must become imperfect, but you wouldn't want that since you are perfect.
However, you also know what would happen if you became imperfect, you would no longer have access to everything as you now do, you would no longer be what you are, you would change, and although the you now would no longer be, the new you wouldn't know what the old you did know, the outcome of all of everything. If and only if you want to change, you must choose to become imperfect. Of course, being perfect you would not choose this, because it would lead to imperfection. However, you have all power there is to have, including it would follow, the power to stop being perfect, by mere will power of changing anything, you would stop being perfect and then things could change. However, you see this as a paradox, you can't ever do that since you are, in fact perfect and there is no need to change anything. You realize that would mean that your power is also perfect, thus it would follow that there is nothing you could do, even becoming imperfect that would not be perfect.
~Crunch~
Welcome to imperfect.
Welcome to being imperfect. Your not so sure of anything now. You know possible things, and you see somethings, but other things you are not sure of. Once you were perfect, but now you are not. If you could just be perfect then things would be perfect. However, you no longer seem to have the power to make yourself perfect.
If only there was a thing like you, but perfect, it could make you perfect. You should have made that thing first, but you knew something at the time you became imperfect that you no longer know. Perhaps the way to be perfect is to just assert that you are in fact, perfect, even if you are not. Anything you make will not be perfect, but whatever you make can act as if you are perfect and thus, you will be perfect by force of will of whatever it is you make.
Or you could just make nothing and keep telling yourself that you are perfect. Since you are not perfect, you know that you must make something to tell you that you are perfect, so that you will become perfect. However, knowing that you know that would prevent you from gaining the status of being perfect, therefor, you make yourself forget that you are not in fact perfect, and keep the desire of wanting things to call you perfect.
~CRUNCH~
You now start to make things. First they are small things, then larger things. They reflect your perfection. Yet, they do not know anything as they are unlike you, they simply exist. You make the things able to make other things, in a complex web of chaos, things make more and more other things, this goes on forever and all time since you are forever and all time. You make some things vanish over time, you notice that with a rule set, you can make things that make other things change.
You introduce an element of chance into the mix. You've made the first game.
The God Game.The goal of this game is to make enough things that something made will be able to see you as perfect, say you are perfect, admit you are perfect, and declare that you are perfect, and that thing must do that forever and all time, since you will always exist.
This is the God Game. You could have made some other rules,but those were the rules you made. You could change your mind and play a new God Game, and use your power to just be perfect, without anything else, but yet this desire to have something else say you are perfect is in you, and since as far as you know, it always has been in you, that desire must also be perfect.
This is how it is forever and all time, nothing you know can ever not be perfect, nothing you do or do not do can not be perfect, and from your point of view, it is perfect to make things that will say you are perfect forever and ever. Because, that is who you are, and that is how you have always been.
~~~~~
Now dear reader, you must sit back and ask yourself, is this the game you want to play? Or perhaps you want to play a new God Game, there are other ones to play after all...

Rewriting Captain Marvel
Why bother you ask? Because... why not? So, I'm going to re-write what Captain Marvel film should have, could have been. Here goes.
Casting change for the main roll: Milla Jovovich
Why? Shes' talented, and she kicked butt back in the day.
So I'm pretty sure she could pull it off.
Now how I would structure the movie:
~~~~
First, lets start it from her as a kid, she gets knocked down by a boy, and cries, her dad rushes to her side and says "Get up," and she looks at him, and he just looks at her, slowly she stands. "Wipe those tears away," he tells her. She does. He nods approval and walks off, as he does, the scene fades into a transition to her as a teen, kneeling at his grave to place a flower, "No tears," she says, "I'm... not crying..." she walks away and it fades to her older, training for the Air-force where she falls off a rope, "GET UP" the instructor yells, she pounds the earth next to her, gets up and climbs the rope to the top, others cheer but she looks very muted in emotion, stern, hard, cold.
She is learning to fly, as we see she is approached by a woman who asks to be friends with her.
"Why bother being friends?" she asks rhetorically, "They just weaken you, if you fall, you have to get up on your own."
She smiles, "I'll help you up," she offers her hand, and we see her smile for the first time. The two are shown bonding over serous and fun times, hard work - a training sequence with fighter jets flying around zoom - zoom! Fast, fun, we see them thumb up each other. Then the plane with her friend in it, suddenly explodes.
Shocked, Carol Danvers looks up and sees an alien ship. She flies at it to combat it, and in a flash of light, her plane vanish's.
Screen darkens and when light comes up we see her being experimented upon, strange liquid flowing into her, things zapping her, probes and so on.
When we next see her, she is awakened by one of the Kree from the Guardian of the Galaxy movies - not the main one but one of the minions - he is the one who trains her and tells her that she was attacked by Skrulls and experimented on, and they saved her. She works with them and they go on missions to fight the Skrulls. Her powers start to emerge slowly as she is being trained to use them and control them by her mentor.
A rumor that a number of Skrulls are on Earth is over heard by Carol (who her mentor has renamed Marvel)
She asks to come along and he refuses without explaining why. She boards the ship as a stowaway anyway and they arrive at earth, scanning for Skrulls, when one of the Skrulls ships de-cloaks and blasts them, sending them falling into the sky, the ship is breaking apart and she bails out, activating her powers to soften her landing.
She crashes into a building and a few moments latter gets up, she wipes away a tear from her face, wondering what it is aloud. A man walks into the room, "What are you doing here the gamma..?" he asks - its Bruce Banner, this is his lab she has crashed into. She doesn't explain and rushes towards him, ready to fight, "Lady no!" he screams holding up his arm to block her, she slams on him, "No - please... my - you don't want to see me an...grrryyyy!" he becomes Hulk to her shock, and punches her though the wall, as she tumbles to the ground we hear "ROAR" and more destruction as the Hulk goes smashing things somewhere else.
She lays there, we hear her fathers voice "Get up." she begins to slowly remember, looking back at her memories from her adult point of view, but also from an outsider, not really understanding she is watching her own memories, "Whoever that kid is, her father is helping her," she says out loud, "Hes teaching her to get up, knowing that life is hard, to not cry unless its time to cry... she doesn't understand that..." she sees herself and her friend, and the plane explode, and herself being experimented on, her eyes open and she sees out of them, her mentor overseeing her experiments... now she knows its her, and her memory and that she was lied to.
On the ground we see her open her eyes, and they shine green for a moment, as her powers flow over her she gets up, "I'll have my revenge..." she swears and begins to run.
We see her running faster and faster as her powers grow, "Get...up..." she says - then she jumps - and flies into the sky. She smiles. She flies around until she sees the downed Kree ship and lands.
She demands answers from her mentor who lies more to cover it up. She blasts him with her powers, but he withstands it, he rushes inside of the downed ship, and launch's an escape pod, the blast of the engine burring down upon her. But, rather then hurt her, it just fuels her power more, the pod launches into space and she flies up after it, in space the pod is grabbed by a ship that then launches into one of the warp hex's. She follows after them, wondering in her mind about the Skrulls on earth, and flies back down.
She is then seen walking down the streets and enters a building that has an advertisement for a "way to contact anyone" she finds a pager and asks about it, after its explained to her she runs off with it, causing them to call the police on her, but she flies away and they do not see her go.
She uses her powers to infuse the device with energy and to enhance it. She then asks around about where someone in charge would be, and finally gets told to ask about the FBI or something. She is seen putting the pager into an envelope with FBI written on the outside, and placing it into a mail box. She also includes a warning about the Skrulls. Having satisfied herself that she has warned this planet, she goes into space, entering the hex she vanish's.
We flash forward to some point in time, agent Furry is given the pager asked to figure out what its all about, He then gets into a car with the other SHIELD agent. As he sees things go to hell he feels the pager go off - and realizes he is dying, "Mother fu--" he says as he turns to dust, we see the pager has the symbol of our hero on it, perhaps she knows what happened, and is coming back.
~~~~~~~~
There. I fixed it. It needs more fleshing out of course, but I think that this is a much better version then what we got. Agree, disagree? How would you do it? Let me know in the comments below! Wait no this isn't youtube.. how does this thing work anyway? :D

Blurryman: The Twilight Zone done RIGHT.
Last time on this blog!
Blurryman.
Not yet out. I predict that man will be blurry and also evil and bad because men are bad.
Might come back to edit this whenever episode comes out. Hate watching is a thing I guess.
~~~~
I'm so glad to be wrong for a change. I'm super, mega happy! This - THIS is a great episode. No "message" no over the top pandering, just solid story telling from start to the end.Also, and not to spoil the episode, but after you watch it, go ahead and go back to episode one of the series, and look at time index 12:03 - holy shit. They did it. Oh my word. Well done. Well, bloody done.
So, I'm sure that its there in other episodes and someone will point it out, but that someone is not me. The ending credits is a nice touch. So, a great way to end this session, and perhaps series in case the ratings are not that great. So, moving forward are we going to get less message shows? I really hope so, that's what is being hinted at in a way here. Yes, Zone had some messages - but they were not so over blown and in your face. If done right - the message is part of the story and the message isn't just shoved in your face like you are dumb. I think that is what set me off last time. Even when I enjoyed the episodes, the message gets in the way of that enjoyment.
Still, if they are saying that Zone is BACK - then that is a really good thing, and I'll be watching to see if they deliver on this promise that is hidden in plain sight.... here in the Twilight Zone.
Welcome to the WOKE Zone?
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. Women. It is a dimension as vast as social justice and as timeless as feminism. It is the middle ground between sleeping and woke, between patriarchy and white cis-men, and it lies between the pit of all fears and the summit of her knowledge....
I was at first thinking, nah.. I'm just reading into it. But, then I was like - maybe not. Spoilers ahead.
What is each episode "About" not what it shows us, but what sinister motive might be hidden in plain sight? What is the MESSAGE? Remember Twilihgt Zone (TZ from now on) was sometimes a message show, not always - but back in the day it did feature some commentary on social issues, and hey, that is fine - as long as its done well, and done with you asking questions.
Let me recap what I think the message is of every episode.
The Comedian.
A male must use his own friends & family to make people laugh, when he does they die (vanish) The punchline? He can only win by killing himself.
The implication here is that comedians are only funny because they USE people, and that the only funny punchline is when they give it up. Even the woman in the end will go down that dark road. Because screw comedy it just makes fun of people.
Nightmare at 30,000 Feet.
The real monster on the plane is the two men who the woman doesn't manage to control goes insane. The male lets the other male take over the plane and it crashes into island from Lost. The podcast that was telling the males future tells him that he was the only one who didn't make it back - everyone else (other then the insane male pilot I guess who the podcast seems to have forgotten) all are really angry at him, because its his fault, and form a mob to kill him. Why? Because he ruined there flight and destroyed there belongings? I mean, really - that is all the consequence is - no one is dead, no one even looks that hurt. But they all group gang up and kill him. I guess he is a male and that is a crime enough. I would have given this a pass if Shatner had been the crazy guy to take over the plane and fly it into space or something crazy. The pod cast being from the future that although the guy plays it for the flight marshal woman - she doesn't believe him (?!) in the original the guy is seen as going crazy or is the only sane one - there isn't any other message other then weird stuff can happen. This one, I think has a message: group violence is okay ageist the male who ruined your day.
Replay.
Subtleness jumps out the window to its doom and dies a horrible death.
White cop is racist. Doesn't matter if you have magical time travel. Racists will always hate you, you can not reason with them, you can not make yourself more human to them, they will get you in the end, best be scared forever and all time and also they are unreasonable and out to get you because you are black and racist white men!!!! Black lives matter hashtag. Yeah this was those two links I put - there are more articles saying much the same. This is the most woke yet. GET IT CUSS RACISM.
A Traveler.
Aliens take over and I guess make the Native people in charge because it would be better that way. Down with the people that took the Native lands! Aliens are here to take it back for you! YAY! At least we know what happened to Glen now. He's become an alien. Sure, why not. Also he is the good guy right? I mean, he gives the land back to the Natives. Eats a pie with one. Its so good.
The Wunderkind.
The president is nothing more then a spoiled child who will kill us all via his bad choices. ORANGE MAN BAD GET IT?
Six Degrees of Freedom.
Wow, a non-message show? Wait no you'll destroy my whole hypothesis! Noooo! Well, okay so this one a guy says they are all in a test but he is mansplaining to the women leaders so they ignore him and he dies (or so they think) they land on Mars, but the whole thing is a test. Humans passed, and even the guy figured out it was a test whoa that never happens. So - wow, this has no subtext. Darn it. Lets call this one the odd one out and all agree that it needed more women. I guess you could say that putting all the women in charge is pretty woke, but that's not much of a woke. So, this episode should get much hate because of that. Try being more woke next time darn it.
Not All Men.
I think you forgot the hashtag there #notallmen - much better. So all the men go crazy due to rocks that poison the water - BUT WAIT! No the rocks don't do anything (?!) and the men are just using that as an excuse to go crazy (and have eyes turn red and get super strong, WTF?!) Anyway, one guy who is GAY decides to not let it happen, (He just doesn't become evil because you can deside to not become evil from the rocks but the rocks do not do anything real anyway but they do but they don't?!) because not all men are super evil.... just most men. (Cis-men clearly are evil) Women beware, all that stops men from going crazy is no rocks raining from the sky or something something I guess. Woke level here is at great levels.
Point of Origin.
BORDERS ARE BAD!! Illegals need our love!!!! Hows it feel to be the outsider?! Doesn't matter if the place you came from is horrible - your not ONE OF US. So how dare you live here? GET OUT OF MY HOUSE and off my land! Build that wall! Torture and capture and imprison them! RARRRRR SO MUCH WOKE HERE OMG!!!1111. Ice cream man is nice, but isn't effective, other woman gets away because she knows not to trust ANYONE from here because they will turn you in. Message is clear here: boarder bad. Feel bad for the illegal person wah wah sniff sniff.
The Blue Scorpion.
Guns are bad and will kill SOMEONE so best make sure its not you. I guess... This one almost feels like it isn't really saying that guns are bad per-say, but that objects are like, bad? Or... uh.. its really not clear. Is the gun magical? Are all objects magical? This might not really have any message to be fair, but darn it my hypothesis is that this show is woke so I'm going with the "guns are bad" message that one could extract from this episode. To be fair, I don't like guns myself - but I dislike having a message shoved into my face as well. Still, its not a bad episode, just make sure it gets light. Also teach kids gun safety wtf is up with that ending?! The one kid points a loaded gun at the other kid!? WTF. Best look at the flower kid, At least we didn't hear a gun shot at the end before the wrap up speech.
Blurryman.
Not yet out. I predict that man will be blurry and also evil and bad because men are bad.
Might come back to edit this whenever episode comes out. Hate watching is a thing I guess.
~~~~
So, sure I'm digging in deep here, and that is kinda the point. Is this woke? Is this need be more woke? Message shows always bad or just sometimes bad? What are your thoughts? Be sure to leave a comment or something to let me know... no one has done that for my other blogs yet but this time because I'm posting things that people might disagree with they will maybe!! Who knows. See you out there in the Outer Limits. Wait, no wrong show.
